Martin and I got married in Germany near his family. We did have a small ceremony in San Diego with our friends, and it was so much fun to get married twice. Martin is such a wonderful man. We get along so great. Even after a year of wonderful bliss, we still act like newlyweds. The reason for writing this letter is we wanted to thank Cindy for such a wonderful memory that we will cherish for a lifetime. When we first met Cindy, she was working for a property management company that rents vacation condos and homes. We were building a home nearby and it wasn't finished yet and we needed temporary housing. She was able to accommodate us right away. But you know, that's not where it stopped. We invited Cindy to our temporary home for a New Year's Eve celebration with our family and closest friends. She not only accepted but offered to help with any food preparations, set up, ect. She mentioned that catering was her side job, but also her passion. We gladly accepted and she helped with everything. Well, we were so great full that while our one year anniversary was approaching, I decided to call upon Cindy to help surprise my husband with an anniversary dinner.
"Oh, yessssss!" said Cindy. "Let the party begin." On the evening of our anniversary, I told Martin I had a surprise for him. I knew Cindy's plan, but had no idea how special she would make it. We arrived at the beach 45 minutes before sunset. I had a place staked out near Cindy's house. It made it really easy for her to prepare what we were planning. Upon arriving, to my surprise, there was a walkway of tiki torches from the beginning of the sand, leading to the water, at the beach. At the end of our walk there was a beautifully set table with warm candlelight, wine, and beauty flowers to set the mood. It was hard not to act surprised myself as this was an idea I had brought to Cindy's attention, but did not expect it to be so beautiful. We sat. Martin was shocked. Cindy came to our table to begin to serve us a wonderful, romantic, sunset dinner for 2. It truly was a memory that we'll never forget. Thank you Cindy, for a wonderful dinner and memorable night.
